The commemorative march began at the revered Astana-e-Aliya Taisuru shrine and proceeded in an orderly and peaceful manner toward the city’s central Hussainiya, where the main ceremony was held. Participants chanted slogans expressing solidarity with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and reaffirmed their commitment to justice, resistance, and Islamic unity.
Addressing the gathering, prominent Kargil-based cleric Hojatoleslam Seyyed Hashem Mousavi elaborated on the historical significance of the Islamic Revolution, its intellectual foundations, and its influence on oppressed nations worldwide. He described the Revolution as a turning point that revived Islamic identity and strengthened the discourse of independence and resistance in the Muslim world.
Hojatoleslam Altaf Hussain Thaqafi, head of the Fatima al-Zahra Seminary in Kargil, underscored the necessity of unity within the Islamic Ummah and emphasized moral responsibility and adherence to the teachings of the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). He highlighted the role of conscious and principled leadership in safeguarding revolutionary achievements and ensuring continuity of its values.
Speakers throughout the ceremony pointed to the Islamic Revolution’s emphasis on self-reliance, social justice, and resistance against domination, describing these principles as universally relevant in today’s geopolitical climate.
The event concluded with special prayers for the health and long life of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as for the continued progress, security, and prosperity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Organizers expressed appreciation to participants, community leaders, and local officials who contributed to the successful holding of the ceremony. They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting the values and ideals of the Islamic Revolution, describing the gathering as a testament to the deep spiritual and ideological connections shared by communities across the Muslim world.
